How Teton Marketplace handles information

We collect only what is needed to run a useful, moderated marketplace, protect members, and investigate misuse.

Information collected

This may include authenticated account email and display name, profile details a member supplies, listings, uploaded photos, private messages, favorites, reports, moderation history, founding-list requests, and basic security or diagnostic information.

Photo integrity information

Uploaded photos may be checked for file type, size, cryptographic hash, reuse, and available capture information such as date, device make or model, and whether GPS metadata exists. Teton Marketplace does not store precise GPS coordinates from uploaded photos.

How information is used

Information is used to provide listings and messaging, review submissions, apply verification badges, investigate reports, prevent spam and fraud, communicate about an account, and improve the service.

Sharing

Teton Marketplace does not sell personal information. Public listing details and the seller’s chosen display name are visible to visitors. Private contact details and messages are not placed in public listings. Information may be shared with service providers or authorities when reasonably necessary for operations, safety, legal compliance, or the prevention of fraud.

Storage and retention

Structured marketplace records and uploaded images are stored using managed cloud infrastructure. Records may be retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for safety, disputes, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Your choices

Members may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing erinnsebay@gmail.com. Some information may be retained where legally required or reasonably needed to prevent misuse and resolve disputes.
